Emergence
Following the theme of "Radical self acceptance", 'Emergence' is a series of three pieces that follows the story of a girl undergoing the realization that she no longer wants to wear her skin, but shed it.
Still, those around her are worried for her. They express concern, worried at the lengths she's willing to change so drastically.
Despite this, she sheds her skin and experiences a euphoria like never before.
I chose to incorporate a bug motif in order to harken to the idea of a bug emerging from a cocoon, turning into what they were meant to become.
