A sample page from a reimagining of the “Hansel and Gretel” fairytale set in the countryside of Panama, my country. While generally adapting traditional visual elements, I also wanted to pay homage to one of the indigenous tribes of Panama, the kuna people and their amazing textile artform, their Molas.
